Content is a vital component to any useful website. Therefore the ability to manage the content is critical to the success of your website. Throughout our site we use a simple WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor which allows you to easily enter and manage your content without needing to know HTML or messing around with ftp or other means of organizing your data. It can all be handled within the editor. You can upload and manipulate images, create linkable images and text, upload and link to documents. There's even a spell checker to help you find misspellings.
The page manager employs a revision system which allows you to create new revisions of copy and publish the content according to your needs. You have the ability to designate a user (or users) who must approve and publish content. You also have the ability to instantly roll-back revisions and revert to a previous revision.
Using the Page Manager, in conjunction with some of the other tools provided with your website, gives you total control. For example:
- You can create content rich pages and add links within your site's menus to instantly build out your site and it's content.
- You can organize pages using 'Topics' to group similar content which allows the web site visitor to easily find related content.
- In conjunction with the User Groups and Security manager tools, you can provide content that is available only to registered members.
