Surveys and Dynamic Forms
Member based organizations need to understand their members' needs and adapt to them whenever possible. Surveys are one method of determining the needs of your members. We have developed a powerful and flexible survey management feature to make this become a reality for your organization.
In order to give you the most flexibility to assure your needs will be met, our survey manager includes many useful options. You can define a survey to be a member only survey, or a public survey. You can specify start and end dates for the survey. You can make the results public or private. You have the ability to limit the amount of time a user has to complete the survey. And you can require a minimum and/or maximum number of responses.
The survey manager supports a wide range of question types, including text, numeric, date/time, comment box, dropdown list, radiobutton list (select one), check box list (select multiple). The ability to allow for 'other' answers is also included.
Survey results can be output individually on your website like a poll, aggregately as a report with graphs, or on an individual response basis.
Surveys can also be linked to events. A linked survey will become part of the event registration process so the event organizers can collect relevant information about the event participants.
While we call this feature the Survey Manager, it can become much more than that. Because of it's flexibility to can be used as a custom dynamic form generator. You can create a form with inputs according to your specifications and treat it like an online form. This gives you a great deal of flexibility in extending your website's capabilities and effectiveness.
