User Management

An effective website requires user access with different roles for managing and utilizing the features available.  We have created a role based user management system that will allow you to designate administrative users that you can selectively assign permissions to, as well as assigning members and users to groups and roles to allow access on a feature specific basis.

The user management feature allows you to add and maintain user accounts.  User accounts are used to allow site administrators and members into the restricted areas of the site. 

The secure areas of the site can be organized by groups.  Assigning users to groups allows you to allow and restrict access according to their group permissions.  For example the Board of Directors, a Committee, or other appropriate grouping may only be allowed to access content and features for which they have permission.

The user manager feature allows a user administrator to assign the groups and roles on a per user basis to accomplish this role based security throughout the site.  The group designations can also be used for distributing newsletters.

The group manage feature allows a user administrator to create groups and corresponding roles. 

The user management features allow you complete control over the administration and control of your organization's website.  The flexibility of the role based system allows you to configure your website according to your needs.
